From Native American villages to the towering walls of Buckskin Gulch, from the slots of the Antelope Canyons to the hoodoos at Bryce, this is a photographer's dream and well worth a visit to capture the region's magic.

 

This is a magical place,  often the lighting and timing - the keys to photography - are set by conditions beyond your control. Many times travel circumstances can be a problem and you feel frustrated, but lo and behold, when you do arrive the photo opportunity is even better than before. There are so many different places to visit, all with their own unique characteristics, that many people return to explore again and again.
